Bong questions

I know these questions more or less depend on personal smoking preferences, but thought I would gather a few opinions.

1. After packing a NEW bowl, is the 1st hit always the strongest, in terms of THC content? I think some refer to the first hit as the "green hit" depending on how much herb is packed into the bowl to begin with.

2. For your bong, how much weed do you typically use if you are smoking by yourself? This likely is depending on the size of the pipe, lung capacity, and a variety of other factors. I find that packing the bowl with too much weed may result in waste, as the bud at the bottom of the bowl doesn't burn all the way.

3. Finally, if you are hitting your bong more than once, how many times do you "typically" go in a single session before calling it a day?

1. Depends. If you have abnormally large bowl, the cannabis under the top will get resinated and have a higher THC content. If not, yes.
2. The largest bowl I can clear in one hit.
3. Usually around 3-4 good hits before I'm baked.

no... not nessicarily (if you got a small bowl, then maybe, if you go ta good sized bowl, definately not, greens refers to just green leaf to burn, it does taste better then half charred shit)

i pack the bowl full... any that is wasted isn't anything worth worrying about.... you can tell when it gets to nothing really left by that disgusting ass taste (anyone who's cahsed a bowl knows it too... it's a very, VERY particular taste, and cannot be mistaked) most of the crap at the bottom of that cashed bowl is ash anyways.... probably not even a lungs worth of actual material to burn by that point, so nothing really wasted.... no more then would be wasted by holding on the lighter 2 seconds longer then needed...

i smoke all day when i got bud, i don't have to worry about hiding it, i load up a bowl, smoke til i'm stoned (by this point it's usually cashed) then load up a nother, (i'm also by this point usually playing BF2 or some other fps) and i take hits inbetween deaths and what not...

ok why are so many peple thinking the top is the most powerful? unless you got a really small bowl (as i mentioned above) it's completely normal green bud under that black charred shit from your first hit... the green under that charred shit is no diffrent then the green from a fresh bowl, except you can't see the green ness cuz it's coated in ash...

the first hit may not necesarily the most potent hit but is defanitly the strongest because its the biggest

Yea, I always suspected that the first hit must be the more potent one, but then again, as Marevix pointed out in his post, the stuff on the bottom gets resinated, so subsequent hits may be just as strong or stronger than the first. That makes total sense, which is why the question was asked.

And, yes, once you ash most of the bug in the bowl, you get that particular taste that slipknotpsycho was talking about. It's indeed disgusting, but then again, if you don't use all the weed in the bowl, you may risk wasting some at the bottom.

I know a few friends that will pack the bowl several times (at least 2 or 3) during a session of "average" size, depending on how many they are sharing with, etc. To be efficient with dank weed is important, especially if you are paying a premium. Here were I live, I get some medical grade stuff, purps, widow, and other strains which contain +25% THC. It's pricey shit, but well worth it.

1.I don't think the first hit is the most potent...I try to corner the bowl so someone else can have a green hit too.

2. The bowl in my bong is the perfect size for me smoking by myself, so usually just one. If I'm smoking during my lunch break for school, sometimes I don't finish it, but that just means there's some already packed for the next day's lunch.

ya the first hit can be called 'taking greens' and had the most thc in the hit

if im smokin by myself ill just pack up a hit, or half a bowl

if im with my friends we'll smoke 2-3 bowls in a session, but then another bowl every hour or so til its late inthe night

don't pack to much, and use a windproof lighter to burn everything in the bowl
