    enough lighting?

Would a setup with two 30w CFL's at 1800 lumens per be enough to produce a decent crop? I'm not looking for a mega yield, just enough to keep myself happy.

    thx

If you were to grow a lowryder then yes it would give quite a decent yield but only on lowryder.. I once grew a lowryder in an emptied out pc case with the inside painted in matt white with just one daylight 30w spiral cfl bulb and it was 17inch tall and the resin production was very high.. when dried and cured I got 42g and made 17g of hash and was very potent and tasty too..

I just wanted to say that two 30w bulbs will be ok for any smallish plant in a small enough area but make sure they are daylight colour because the plant will think it's more like the sun.. any bigger plants 2ft or higher will need 125w or 200w enviros.. good luck anyway..

I have them in a small hydro cabinet setup with the inside lined with white Styrofoam. Also have the lights in a bat-wing reflector. Coming up on 2 weeks now, plants are about 3-4 inches high. I started off with only one 30w and I just added the 2nd 30w yesterday. I'll check back in as I go... first time grow too!

My plants will be 3 weeks old this sunday, how close should I be putting the lights now? I have the lights about 7-8 inches above, should I lower now?
