actually you can go ahead and bring a parachute but that wont help on commercial flights... did you know there is no way you can open the door of a commercial air plane while it is in air because of some type of pressure on the outside or sumtin.. so basically unles you have an eject button ... i wouldent bother bringing a parachute tho... but they should put an eject button on each chair.

EDIT: Also I saw the part were you said escape exits... i dunno how those work but if they install like one of those escape exits like on those military planes ... that would be a good feature on a commercial flight in my oppinion.
