'Good and evil' in battle for France
SEGOLENE ROYAL yesterday labelled Nicolas Sarkozy a "dangerous" man whose victory would "trigger violence and brutality across the country".
Her attack came as a battery of opinion polls predicted defeat at best and humiliation at worst for the Socialist candidate in today's election.
"He's a good actor. He can hide his real self," Ms Royal railed at a gathering of her supporters in Brittany. "But don't be fooled."
Evoking a battle of good and evil, she urged France to renounce Mr Sarkozy because he pandered to "the darkest sides of the human spirit".
Instead she called for a celestial victory, intoning: "Rise up for the truth, rise up for the light."

"You must mean like the statements that we're trapped in an unwinnable war, etc........."
And Giuliani comes out with "Vote Democrat and 9/11 will happen again". That sir, is a fear tactic. If Bush had planned better and had a plan B,C,D,etc before 4 years of fighting maybe we wouldn't be in this mess. Instead we assumed before hand and now we see when you assume it really is ass/u/me. Go look at America from outside the box and you will see the only ones not living here who like America are the Mexicans running across the boarder for that low paying job. We used to be looked upon very highly by other nations and now the Iraq war has made us a laughing stock of the world. Go vote for your pro-war candidate and keep the troops fighting 4 more years! 2 Billion a week to fight in Iraq could better be used in our failing schools and medical system. Maybe by the time we "win" our kids will be too stupid and sick to know what we won.
P4B you have allot of hate for anything that isn't a conservative view point. Can I interest you in converting to Buddhism? You might live a bit longer with less stress in your life.

The "fear card' has been around since one caveman tried to convince his neighbor they needed bigger clubs. It belongs to no political party, they all use it.
\"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will, within limits drawn by the equal rights of others. I do not add \"within the limits of the law\', because law if often but the tyrant\'s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.\"-Thomas Jefferson.

I can't stand this modern day view that left-wing politics is good where right-wing is evil. It's not that black and white. I live in a dominated left-wing country and the socialist morons have destroyed this country every way possible. High taxes, high crime, underfunded schools, public services overstretched, illegal wars, mass immigration, and their kindly gesture of giving billions of pounds of our tax payers money to other countries. Seriously, when will this s**t end?
Ok, ive stopped my ranting, you may continue.
