I've read in numerous places that THC isn't water soluble - chemically speaking, THC is a chemical crystal made from the secretions of the plant (like, sap from a tree). It's why you can't make tea from cannabis, but can make Green Dragon - by using alcohol.

Sure, after all, a book is (usually) only the author's opinion, whether based on scientific fact or not - but, at least books will enable a person to make an informed decision or conclusion...but NEVER discount a book's worth

I'm not trying to say that you are wrong, I was just asking a question to clarify my own opinions and knowledge (ie, I always thought that water filtering was the best way to 'strip' the smoke of all the nasty little toxins that come with the burnt leaf).
I guess that the best results can be acheived by using alcohol (ie, Vodka) instead of water. Smoke the bong for a time, then strain the vodka, and drink - very nice (although, I only done this a couple of times - cannabis flavoured vodka )

Nice bong, I love bongs... I love to make my own bongs, I am a cheap bastard, I can't afford to buy nice bongs. My favorite bong that I have made is a coconut bong, it failed in the fact that it cannot be used as a water bong (the bubbles of smoke make the water hit your mouth, ruining the experience).
