its insane, there isnt really anything in waterbury for the youth to do besides walking around the mall aimlessly, and the rentacops hassle anyone who stands still for more than 30 seconds accusing them of loitering. i havent been up there in about two years but it was shitty back then, i can only imagine things have gotten worse

There was an article in the newspaper saying how on an average Friday night there are up to 40 fucking rent-a-cops. I've been kicked out numerous times for walking faster than normal, standing still, being falsely accused, etc, etc. We used to chill at the Roller Magic on Lakewood Road until the management turned into the Nazi socialist party. all over connecticut really. new haven right now, before that i was in waterbury for three years. have you ever checked out brass city records? they have some incredible shows once in a while.

No, I don't think I have. Where is it? For shows I usually go to the Webster and Toad's Place, but thats getting shut down for the summer.

im not too dissapointed about that. toads is a shithole and the same can be said about the webster in my opinion. i prefer more intimate settings though. brass city records is at 489 meadow street.
