Add mulch to the top. I'm using leaves. That should help lower soil temp from the lights above and need less watering.
Are you using cool bulbs for veg?
Pass That Shit Reviewed by Pass That Shit on . temp question i just started my first grow a few days ago, got the seeds to germinate using moist paper towels and they were planted into soil yesterday, Ive got 6 100wat cfls on them but my problem is my temps are hanging around 87-90 degrees, whats a good temp range to shoot for? im using a rubber made grow tub like this one http://boards.cannabis.com/growroom-setup/80747-how-rubbermaid-tub-growbox.html so its a bit hard to get my temps down, any suggestions?
