not alot of smoke

hey. eveytime i make a bong or a pipe, my weed doesnt produce much smoke, but i do get high. when i smoke the same weed out of the joint, it smokes like crazy. whats the deal? i watched some videos of home made bongs, and they smoked like crazy. what does this mean?

trust me, i had a lot of suction, not from pulling harder, but by the bottle being completly sealed. on the can pipe, it was very hot, harsh, and there was also little smoke. could all of this be avoided if i didnt have many holes from the smoke to go down into, like less hot air to escape into the can?

The shape of the piece/bong/etc matters for suction too.

Are you using the carb properly? That's the only thing I can think of that would mess up your hit. All of my homemade bongs hit like whoa lol. I especially love my waterfall..man, practically free and better than everything I own for smokin' weed lol.
