Certainly. I know a few people who do nothing with their lives except goto Hippie Conventions and smoke weed. Now obviously I have nothing against these things, as I do both. The difference is, I do other things. Some nonsmokers see people who smoke as one group, when in reality they're diverse. So I guess when I say that weed doesn't define who I am, all I am saying is that I'm not you're typical stoner who does nothing but smoke weed. I do smoke a lot of weed, but I don't let it get in the way of what's important. Hope that answers your question.

I agree with you completely. I feel the same but I think using marijuana does at least help define who I am. What I mean is, the fact that I am open enough to rely on my own experiences to define what is true for me rather than the propoganda or status quo etc...I think that defines part of my charachter. I think this is part of the reason pot users congregate regardless of politics or religion etc.., because we all share this common trait.
I agree that the person who only thinks of getting high is acting on some unhealthy impulses but for the rest of us who use responsibly to enhance our lives I think we should be proud to say we use marijuana.

I've been here little over a year and have over 10,000 posts - doesnt mean i dont get out. I work all day, i smoke and drink all night. Just because i have a high post count doesnt mean i post here non stop every day. Post count means nothing - why bring it up?

No, i've only been here since feb 06.

I've been comming on this site since 03 i think, but i didnt bother with an account untill some moron made me want to join up just to flame him lol.

All i'm saying is, even though i've got alot of posts, doesnt mean i dont get out. I just post quickly in all teh threads that appeal to me.

:hippy: great thread.... I would just like to add that my hubby and I both grow and smoke, and this is just a tiny part of our lives. I am 35 and retired, we own several companies and employ alot of staff. Cannabis is a part of our lives but it is not our whole life.
