Light is light. I don't think there is anything different with the light coming in the windowsill, than the light shining outside. I was planning on putting the plants outside too, but its risky if my neighbors see them. The folks work during the day and since it was summer, it would be great for me.

Damn this fucking sucks. Man, I just wanna grow some damn plants and I can't grow any decent strains with high THC because I have to configure the light cycle which requires electrical work if I want to grow indoors, and plus the fuckers will be like 10 ft tall if grown outdoors and there is no security. Outdoors would be best if I could just do it on my patio or something with big huge pots for each plant.

If you have a safe windowsill I say try it, and see what you get. :thumbsup:
You should be able to use CFLs without any electical coniguration...just a power strip, desk lamp(s) and a grounded outlet, preferably.
The sun is umpteen times more powerful outdoors than inside through the glass. You should notice a lot more squinting if you go from inside to outside in direct sunlight, or if you take a photo with exposure locked...try it indoors then out and notice how much more of the photo is blown out!:wtf:
As I say all that, who knows...I've never done a windowsill grow, but like I said, try it. Just don't dismiss lowryder 2 if you the results aren't what you like!

After soaking seeds for about 12 hours, I sowed them straight to Supersoil with a Supersoil/Perlite layer below. Less than 2 full days and 3 out of 5 have broken surface! I'll try to keep logging as I go.
