Well it's been a long while since I stopped by so here's an update: the summertime hydro experiment didn't go too well for me as I was unprepared for the heat (first indoor grow was started last fall, the hydro was my third, first summer) and I got a lot of brownish root rot, initially from high res temps. It seems that my rapid pH dropping was a signal that I didn't interpret in time and when I did nuke it with H2O2 I may have overdone it. Temps were into the 90's on several occasions - 600w is a lot warmer than 400 even with the cooltube. Finally put a chiller on the res and finished the plant out. It had massive amounts of airy fluffy buds that taste & smoke great but are weird cause they are so fluffy. Here's a pic of one of them.

Finally found some Afghani Bullrider clones and grew a mother. Current (soil!) grow is 5 of them in my trusty HydroHut with a 600W. I flowered them early and didn't top these as an experiment since I have topped all my grows in the past, I wanna compare.

doco Reviewed by doco on . Doco's Waterfarm Hut Well, the plants seem to have survived the transition from bubbler to the waterfarm so this will be the start of my latest adventure, Doco's Hut 3.0. This is my first time getting wet with hydro and naturally I am running into various little problems but I guess thatā??s another way to learn. First I overfed them and most of them got some nute burn around the edges of the lower leaves. The Ph was running high (6.3) and I tried correcting it a couple of days but just couldnā??t get it to Rating: 5
