driving and smoking

I'll be one of those guys everyone hates and be honest here. I drive around high all the time. Have for around 8 or 9 years now. I'd be willing to say that my driving high is better than most peoples ability to drive sober.

At least thats how it feels when I'm driving down I4, or I95.

I think once you've been driving high for a little while your perceptions change, or adapt so your just as safe as sober. I mean, alot of people drive stoned - but you dont see it on TV, in the papers or on those stupid anti drug ad's because generally driving stoned means hightened concentration coupled with paranoia - and that means your being extra safe.

I still agree with what i said before though, i only do it after a couple of joints - if i'd just had a sesh i'd wait a bit for it to chill out/

I believe, beyond the shadow of a doubt, driving while high is better for me than driving sober. I want to run you off the road if you are in front of me, I am not high, and you fail to us your turn signal. If I indulge before the trip, then I pay attetion to my surrondings, instead of focusing on the LITTLE things.:wtf:

Yea, I also drive high. The way I see it, if you want to be safe, don't drive and smoke (although I still do this <<) and don't drive if you know you won't be able to. I won't drive right after smoking (a half-hour to let it cool off, an hour if my tolerance is down) and I didn't do it when i was still new to smoking. When you want to learn to drive high, start by smoking and going around the block, driving to nearby areas, etc. To learn, then you'll be fine.

I'm from California and we still smoke driving! Just remember, Cruise Contol keeps YOU in control. It is a stoners best friend! Really!

driving drunk is bad. driving high is ok. doing both at the same time is in fact fun but extremely dangerous, keep it to the countryk

when i drive high i use the cruise control i love it and my friends say im a better driver when im high

Today I saw a really bad car crash on the news where the guy driving got killed. They were going on and on about "He had 8 and a half grams of marijuana one him. There was also a glass pipe stained with marijuana resin" and going on and on about the shocking marijuana in his car and how it may have been responsible (even though there was no indication he was smoking and driving)
Then they finally give the other insignificant details, such as the fact that he was driving at 140 mph without a seatbelt, talking on his cellphone, and he was drunk

I don't do it alot well I don't actually "Drive" while high but I sit in my car smoke then leave. I just think that the constant hand motions gets suspicious after a while.meah oh if everyone in the car has a blunt or joint to themselves then we can toke up. I know I know pretty hypocritical but at least every time i drive while high i have a blunt to the head. Peace

Back when I worked at a Ski area as a Ski/Snowboard instructor we would always take a car ride to blaze up if it was too windy to be smoking on the lifts. We ended up finding if ya drove to the top of the mountain there is a old dirt road that climbs further up the mountain. During the winter it is basically a mud/snow road and a total bitch to get up it, only a few of our cars could make it to the top (I'm talking about CRXs and other assorted sport cars that shouldn't be offroading lol) We would get up to as far as we could go and park and spark it up. After we got good and lifted the driver of the car would head back down the hill at top speed sideways, backwards, spinning in circles all the while narrowly avoiding trees and embankments, loads of fun!

Only remember one person crashing really, and the shit was maddddd funny. One day we went up the hill and couldn't make it very far cause the conditions were really bad, so we parked pretty near to the first turn after the entrance of the road and sparked up.. SUDDENLY a car comes into site around the corner zooooom, everyone kind of bugged out for a second thinking it was the cops trying to get the jump on us, and CRASHHHH, right into a dirt embankment lol.. Turns out it was one of our friends in his piece of crap sedan trying to get up enough speed to get past the turn haha, we all died laughing watching them climbing out of the windows and stumbling towards are car laughing their asses off too...

I always drive while high.......it tends to make me focus more on what's goin on around me and I've never been in an accident or pulled over while stoned
