Yes, and it is actually completely legalized in the city of Denver, though police can choose to use state law rather then city law if they are dicks until it is state-wide.

It doesn't, it just means it has a different color lol. The only thing I can think of that makes it different than other bud is if the dealers throws in a name with "Purple" in it he's probably telling the truth haha.

Well, my thinking is that this stuff is obviously very dank, just looking at the abundance of trichs, despite the color and everything else. And its not like this stuff went for a shitload more money even though it was purple.

So my thinking is that purple stuff is just pretty much always really really dank, no matter the color. So you aren't really paying for the color, you are paying for the dankness and extra trichs that come with the color.

My thoughts, anyway,

The dankest bud, by far, that I've ever had has been purple and several purple strains Purple Erkle, Grandaddy Purple, Purple Kush, are legendary for being among the dankest of dank. But some strains will just go purple if exposed to cold temps and not be dank at all. A lot of dealers out there will try to rake in the extra cash by selling these so called "purps" that aren't worth a 1/4 of what you pay. Bottom line is never pay for anything just because it's "Purple".

That being said, it definitely looks like you got some of the good stuff. By the looks and your description of the smell and effects I'd say either Erkle or Grandaddy. Whatever it is, enjoy :smokin:

No I think you misunderstood. I didn't say all weed that's purple just mean it's a different color. There is a lot of very potent strains that produce purple buds. And I'm sorry but I can't agree that every purple bud you smoke means it's dank. Like I said purple is nothing but a color. It depends on how it was grown and handled before it gets into your hands that determines how potent it is, I can never agree that purple stuff would pretty much always be dank.

Bah humbug, again with how I really hate it when people don't read the previous comments.... :thumbsup:

I know the difference between bud that has purple spots because of growing conditions and bud that is purple because it has purple trichromes and stems.

So when I talk about purps being some of the dankest there is, I am talking of PURPS, not bud that appears sort of purple in some spots on the leaves but doesn't have any colored trichs or any real purple color.

Trust me, I use words as what they really mean - when I am talking of purps, I mean real ones, not cold-grown buds.
