Per the books
You let the plant tell you what to do , it usualy takes 2-3 days,
you want a 1/8 leaf tip burn , note where it happens ph and ppm.
Now once you have that number , haul ass.
Note if at any time it looks funny dump the firts , restart at 2/3 your last stable ph and ppm.

I bought some WW seeds and the only info I could really get ahold of was that WW is sensitive to nutes....I was told to cut everything back about 20%.Don't know anything about the ph tho.

I am not very good with White Widow , at least 20 crops , and never lost a plant yet. So if you have grown more crops , I'm sorry.
Now I only get .468 grams per watt pre month.
A expensive ph and ppm meter is the cheapest way to grow. Even then calib. it every week , with lab test samples.
Now trimming them to fit the lighting area, is important so you maximize the total light. I use the FIM the first 3-4 nodes , then the headge clipper to a given size.
I use about 5.6 to 5.2 ph and 1000 to 1200 ppm over background water. Plain tape water, works great , I have used eco grow and eco bloom for decades. tried other brands and they did not come up to Eco . Note system is automated so I have a real stable growing system. Its so stable you can run it over the internet. Relayrunner soft ware on a old 486 computer.

I used Gh nutes with Lucas formula. Kept the PH just a little low and pumped the nutes up and superthrive. They were going great till the POPO took them. That's about all I can say. Listen to oldsanclem, you will do alright. They are not hard to grow. Oh my cuttings came by mail and rooted very nice.

Never argue with an idiot - they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.
All of this is just pretend. But if I grew marijuana, it would be in strict compliance with California Law, SB420.
