So my brother and I were watching this video where this chick with the CBC News interviews Marc Emery. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMZIFMbHRZM).

At one point this chick asks, "We're talking about the Bush Administration here, you know that, right?" in such a way that totally reminded me of someone interviewing a rebel from Star Wars: "We're talking about the Empire here, you know that, right?"

Well me and my bro started talking about it... and HOLY BALLS. I never noticed it before, but the Bush administration IS like the evil empire from star wars.

Think about it. You've got Dick Cheney, this super-evil manipulative guy who's obviously the brains of the operation (Emperor Palpatine, anyone?). Then you have Bush, who's evil, but really more of an easily-manipulated puppet (AKA a really stupid Darth Vader). And just like the evil empire in star wars, the Bush administration seems to have a penchant for blowing things up in order to intimidate other countries into obeying them.
