    Will you vote?

Here in Canada we pretty much see the states as a one-party system. Only difference between dems and reps is a slight right/left varriation of the same old. (well, I can't speak for all Canadians, but that's how me and my friend's see it)

It's still the lessor of the two evils thingy, but if you don't vote, you might get stuck with another Dubya, curses. There seems to be a lot of stupid voters. How in the hell did he get re-elected? Wasn't one term enough of a wake up call. I think they cheated again, go figure.

I've voted in every election since I turned 18. I find it really sad how little of the population actually votes.

The entire population of the U.S. is roughly 300 mill.........the state of California has a population of over 38 mill.....I'd hate to think that this one state would equate to over 10% of the thought of the entire nation. There are MANY people that agree with very little that comes out of California.

If California has ten percent of the population, then it should have ten percent of the say; period.

As for the 2000 election........THANK GOD for the system we have!!

Not really. In fact the 2000 election was not a result of our system of government, but rather the most significant corruption of this system. If anybody researches from a neutral point of view, they will learn that the 2000 election was the second biggest affront to democracy that our great nation has ever seen(second only to the administration that resulted).

There would have been no possible way to carry out that 'conspiracy' if the election went to the unquestionable popular vote winner Al Gore.

Ok, just want to start off with saying I can't even vote. But I have the right to bitch about this stuff. I just have to say I don't agree with the electoral college, or the whole people dying for our right to vote. I think everyones vote should count directly. There should be no electoral votes. I know the reason my dad doesn't vote is because for one he doesn't agree with hardly any of the politics of the partys, and his vote would be dem, which makes no difference in california. The whole thing about people dying for our right to vote is because people are to stupid that WE actually hold the power, not our goverment. We allow people to have all the power in the world, then we let them decide how much power we should get, which is little to non. It's the whole pyramid system of power that fucks everyone not at the top over. Also most wars are over power, not the right to vote. In a way war is like voting. People on each side oppose eachother and fight over who's view is correct. Now yes, I agree people should vote, but i'm sure some people just don't see their votes counting. The whole voting system is pretty messed up, and people in general are corrupt. People sell the idea of freedom and democracy and instead shove their beliefs down our throats.Anyways i'm going off topic now and I don't even remember what the hell this post was about...I took something unmentionable earlier and yeah....sorry.
