I am now sure I'm voting for Mike Gravel...
I don't want one that follows the partys platform too closely........things like abortion rights, prostitution, seperation of church and state, etc.......the far right is a bit scary in their own right.

'Real republican" ?? What is this that you speak of? You must be thinking of a moderate republican. They are useless in todays political climate.
This is the state of america: Republicans are bankrolled by large corporations and very rich individuals who want to sustain their own wealth. They make decisions concerning economy and policies based on what is best for those individuals. There are moderate republicans that do consider more than those people but the party majority will not allow those members to really get very far with their opinions.
Democrats are bankrolled by far left liberals and get elected by pulling on the heart string of America. They for the most part do far too much. Most of their 'social reforms' are just shots in the dark at the problem they are trying to fix. They tax the rich and try to help the poor, who just take advantage of their flawed policy.
Both sides SUCK.
However, only one side will without a doubt put a stop to the loss of american lives in the Iraq war. This will be what wins them the presidency.

BTW Mike Gravel is whats is needed for the country, someone that would shake things up!

hahahaha omg yes, the image is beautiful! But yeah i ahev to agree, the extreme bible banging right is just as bad as the Rosie O'Donnels in the world. What we need is a libertarian. However that doesn't seem like THAT will happen any time soon....but I can hope...

Gravel's amazing.
Withdraw from Iraq within 60 days. Eliminate the IRS and income tax. Give the people the power to make laws ("National Initiative for Democracy"). Put a hard cap on greenhouse gas emissions. Legalize same-sex marriage.
And of course... what about weed?
"That one is real simple, I would legalize marijuana. You should be able to buy that at a liquor store."
Seriously, give this guy the support he deserves. You may think he doesn't have a chance because he can't round up the kind of money that Hilary and Obama can. But what use is the money, really? This is the age of the internet. You're hearing about him right now. There's a long ways to go before the primaries. If you agree with Gravel, HELP HIM BECOME PRESIDENT!!! We can do it!

Hey, If the guy gets rollin and I think he has a chance, he's tops on my list, but I'd as soon see a dead skunk as the next president rather than a republican! So it's back to which one do you think has the best chance of beating the Republican candidate! We need to stop the madness first and foremost, then we can work on those issues that Mike gravel proposes. Any Democrat that will not stop the war immeadiately, will have a real hard time acquiring my vote. Dennis Kucinich is also high on my list!

I would rather have americas wealth in large companies than actually in the government because atleast they are somewhat efficient, unlike the gov.
