A cop like that is bad, but what is worse is that nothing changed during the entire judicial process. You can't help a few asshole cops, but my god, it goes further than that. The justice system doesn't care about righting wrongs...

actually, again it depends on the supperior... some supperiors hate crooked cops like inmates hate rapists....

anyways, these are supposed to be the people in charge of keeping everything lawful.... so of course the govt. gives the benifit of the doubt (or police precint, judge w/e) on the cops word... i'm sure they hear how the cop wronged said person 100x atleast everyday.... (of course by this i mean the idiots who think they're gonna get the charges dropped by claiming the cop planted w/e on them)

i'm sure (if it's any decent police headquarters atleast, and the reports could be backed up) if said cop was reported to do his job unlawfully enough, he would be put on investigation... that may not go far, or it may have him put in jail.... one things for sure.... after that point he has a choice of straightening the fuck up QUICK, or facing indiction.. (or however you spell it)

I am always pretty honest with cops [I say pretty honest, because I have had to lie before, but in the heat of the moment, I can look them in the eye], and I've gotten off every time. Many many times including potential felonies, I've had weed taken with no punishment...have been pulled over by the task force and all they did was take our 'things' that have something to do with the second schedule. Maybe I've been lucky [not really though, there's been waaay too many encouters] but they are people too, and the worse thing I hate is when someone lies to me. It's all about being calm, and when you're being honest, you should be calm...it takes that extra skill to lie and be calm.

I respect most cops and their job, and know a few...have absolutely no problem with them.
