If they made a THC pill legal, that would get you high that the government could control, but it was stil illegal to grow and SMOKE it. Would you still smoke?!!

I would still smoke.. There's no way i'd feel right taking a pill.. Weed is an alternative to anti-depressants for some people.. I wouldn't wanna make the powerful decision of weed over pills and then just end up taking a pill again.

kinda intriguing question.. lol sounds like a high one aswell :jointsmile:

they already do have such a pill... it's called marinol... and it's highly, HIGHLY unpredictable.... you can take the same dose under the same conditions, one time it gets you so high, you end up sick, the next you'll be 100% sober (notice i said same dose and conditions...)

it's extremely unreliable, and it's also extremely expensive... a bottle of 30 if i remember right costs atleast a few hundred.... and it's only given for a few select things.... AIDS/cancer patients making up the majority...

due that totally ruins the question. I mean if there was a new pill that just has the same exact affects of smoking, but it's in a form of a pill because they can control the pill better than they can control natural bud.

That if they had this pill and was widely perscribed and you could get it for simple cases like anxiety, insomnia, depression, pain, everything that weed helps you with, would you still smoke the still Illegal bud.

yes? i've got every symptom you mentioned above, and still have not one medication to help with any of it.... just cuz they had a pill that was legal don't mean i can afford it....

cost of weed = w/e it costs you to buy it from the dealer.. (same with rx pills.. it's actualy cheaper fi you know what you need to buy your medication on the street)

cost of prescription meds = overpriced meds (first and foremost) plus monthly doctor visits (that easily equal an extra 100-200..)

like i said, cheaper to treat yourself then do it legally.... plus i love smoking, and i love smoking weed.. just the act, i find the taste and whole process quite enjoying....

I wouldnt take a pill as I smoke weed not just for the high but for the experience. Getting my weed, smelling it, dribbling at the thought of a nice fat joint or a nice bong(my girlfriend gave me one yesterday!)...You cant do that with a pill.

of course it isn't over a fat j, or a bong... just the thought of getting my hands on certain pills drives me crazy... i'm not allowed to directly mention them, but they're extremely popular, and i just got ahold of them the other day for the first time in 6+ months.... i actually love 'em so much they tie with weed... funny thing is, i need to be prescribed them... i've actually been to psychiatrists and it's about teh only pill they haven't tried me on that's in that catagorey...
