    419 Nigerian Scam Fun!

    Welcome to the 419 Eater

Does somebody want to transfer millions of dollars into your account?
Does someone want you pay you to cash cheques and send them the money?
Met a new friend/penpal on a friendship/dating site who's asking you for money?
Has a dying person contacted you wanting your help to give his money to charity?
Have you sold an item and are asked to accept a payment larger than the item amount?

    IT'S A SCAM!

Don't fall for common scams like this - fight them!

So what is scambaiting? Well, put simply, you enter into a dialogue with scammers, simply to waste their time and resources. Whilst you are doing this, you will be helping to keep the scammers away from real potential victims and screwing around with the minds of deserving thieves.

It doesn't matter if you are new to this sport or a hardened veteran; if you are wasting the time of a scammer, or frustrating them in any way well that's good enough for us, and we would welcome you to join with our now very large community.

So it's called scambaiting and I think it's hilarious!!!! Read this story:

The only reason they try the nigerian scam over and over, is because it works... If people in the US weren't morons, and didn't buy into this obvious scam there would be no scam. Half of the shit advertised in the US by people here is a scam.

The word "hackers" is used to loosely these days. It gives the good people bad names.

I've come in contact with these scammers several times. If anyone is dumb enough to fall for this sort of thing... well, you deserve it. The second I start reading one of these emails, the first thing that catches my attention is the complete lack of grammar skills(even below that of what some Americans are capable of stooping to), HORRIBLE mutilation of the English language, and a story so unbelievable and obvious... etc. You know, these "hacking" skills come in handy when you're dealing with these kind of people. If you're only using that knowledge for a good cause, it's not such a bad thing.

Damn, I'm feeling quite numb right now.

^^ of course no reasonable person who knows the internet is going to be fulled. Its the elderly and the people who don't know their way around the proverbial block. Sure YOU and ME wont fall for it but Nanna might..or maybe Mom or Dad.

i don't know. nobody ever had to tell me that the words FREE and MONEY don't go in the same sentence. i guess the only part of it that i could see anybody falling for is maybe the one where they troll around dating sites looking for victims, then spend months, sometimes years building that person up only to empty their bank accounts.
