alright cool. that pic is a lot more clear than the stuff i've been finding, thanks. how about the type, how can you differentiate indica from sativa? i know indica's taller and sativa's bushier, but is that it?

haven't updated in a while, and i think it's about time i did. little over six weeks old. not sure about the smaller one...o well. anyways, as you can see there's been significant growth since my last post. also, as you can see in the 2nd and 3rd picks, there's some kind of damage to my lower leaves. i'm almost positive it's not bugs, as i haven't seen any and i have sprayed the plants down with insecticide. i'im guessing it's nute starvation since i was still using 1/4 strength fert. i'm gonna mix up a new batch tomorrow, if i'm right about this anyone got any input as to how much fert i should use? (i'm lookin your way rootdoctor, since we're using the same fert.) the last pic is my smaller, later plant, who jsut got it's second set of leaves.

GeddaLiddleHI how often are you feeding them ? And do you water with plain water also ever? Even at 1/4 streghth if your feeding them with that at every watering it can cause nute burn, which is what it looks like to me. Im not positive though you might want to post a couple pics in the plant problems section and get other peoples advice.

turns out it's probly nute burn. i was using regular water too (which was in a similar container as the fert water), but i just went into my grow room and realized i've used the wrong can the last couple times i watered. oops! shite. i just flushed it with regular water and hopefully that will help. i googled nutrient burn and that's what was recommended, so, yeah, hopefully...

been pretty busy as of late, hence the lack of updates. but here's what my big boy (well, girl hopefully) looks like. you'll notice some damage to a couple of the leafs on the bottom; that's from leaving a lamp touching those leaves, they got burned. i am seeing some little tear-drop things at branching sections, too early to tell male or female, but they're not in pairs, so hopefully...
also, i got an idea from a part in the movie How High, where he mixes ashes (from his dead friend's body) into his fert, or something. Considering the merits of "slash and burn" farming; ash from burnt trees enrichening soil, would mixing ash from smoked cannabis (yeah, i wasn't planning on using ash form a dead body) into my soil have any benefits for my plants?
edit: yeah, my little plant suffered some damage from being in the same box as the big one. it wasn't getting enough light (even from it's own lamp, which is what burned the big one's leaves) and became very stretched. i did some pruning and relocated it to its own little spot and it's recovering nicely.Everything posted is reposted from other places, hypothetical, or for entertainment only.

alright, so i know i'm supposed to be looking for alternating nodes, and i think my plant's just beginning to do that. i've posted some pics to scrutinize, these are the top couple branches.
