I didnt care that you was posting in my thread , lol. Now your getting more comfotable with growing and starting your own thread thats good. Your plants looking nice. Glad to see your plant looking heathly. Yes you should start more then one plant at a time because all that work and time you put into growing will be useless if you dont got at least one female plant.

k, so here's a (kinda) weekly update on my plant. i actually did drop another seed and adjusted my lighting setup to accomodate for have a roughly 5-week old plant and a "newborn" in the same box.
the first two are my standard shots, angled down for girth, and sideways for height. the last one is a closeup of the base of the stem to show all the little white hairs covering it.
edit: never realize just how big those shots are until you load them up in a browser window and click "full size" i'll scale them down to 1600x1200 from now on, sorryEverything posted is reposted from other places, hypothetical, or for entertainment only.

i dont' know about yours, but the discoloration on mine has been due to the light being too close and heat damage to the leaves. the plant's height was increasing so fast than every day i would find the plant touching the light, which was pretty warm. happened a lot when the plant was smaller, but once i got the light far enough away they returned to a nice shade of green. now that it's bigger, i'm just trying to find that right height to keep the light at again, and my leaves nice and green. i don't know what your setup's like, but the light could just be too close.

well i was planning to flower maybe around 12 weeks. it really depends on what the plants look like at that time. as for light system, i'm not really sure what you mean. i'm using 2 CFL bulbs (Ott-lite Plant Grow bulbs, to be specific) and i have them on 24/0 right now.

quick update. i decided to post again since the seed i planted to replace the one that met it's end via carpenter ant (or something) broke soil. planted it three days ago, doin pretty good. and the second pic is the base of my big plant. i noticed something there that, once again, looks like female pistils to me, they're right at the center of the pic between the two smaller leaves. and so i'm asking you all, again, if i'm right or if that's just the site of some leaves that will come in (i know i'm being optimistic, but it's basically the only plant i have left now). lastly, can anyone tell if my big one's indica or sativa?

GeddaLiddleHI those are not preflowers those are just another set of leaves forming which will one day become another budsite on your plant (if its a girl).
Here is a pic of what one of my plants preflowers look like, the preflower is in the center of the pic with two white hairs comming out it:
