Yeah, we got the short end of the stick here.

Granted not everyone who drinks is going to become a bruden to society, but a big number do. We aren't totally clear though.

There are a lot of pot smokers around me on welfare with no drive to support themselves or their kids. Simply survive off other peoples taxes while they sit at home in a shithole house smoking weed.

Sadly, we have our trouble makers too. But I think the number is far lower than booze.

Granted I'm referring to U.S. welfare, Europe may not have the problems we have here.

Although it could be argued that the reason we have people on welfare who sit in a shithole and smoke weed constantly, and have no money, is because of the prohibition causing the price to be so high. If it were legal, it would be cheap. In fact, this goes for any illicit drug. If coke heads could get coke legally and cheap, it's likely that they wouldn't be selling all of their possessions to get a fix.

i dont think i could ever imagine myself as a violent stoner....i mean u can poke e and i will jsut laugh at ur ass... now when im drunk thats a different story... i can get violent.. get all tuff.. but. most of all i try to keep the peace.. no point in intoxicating urself if your just going to get pissed.. relax have fun....

I think we probably do. I don't know a single person on welfare who isn't a pothead. I'm just not sure what came first: the unemployment or the pot.

And the one simple thing to prove how completely useless and wrong the English Government are, is the recent "idea" to test babies and toddlers on their crying and babblings. It's a joke - it's our government.

Alcohol and hard drugs cause problems, yet they seem to be more interested in wiping out a plant that causes no problems - how unrealistic.

im not for making alcohol illegal (i think all drugs should be legal), but i do think its hard to believe that alcohol is while cannabis isnt

You know how you see these programs on tv with police chases or programs about people that go out and drink or any bad crimes or whatever on the news to do with alcoholics.. people going into hospitals and assaulting people, wifebeaters etc..

The thing that really pisses me off is you know how stupid you or anyone else acts when their drunk.. Like an idiot basically lol.

If people have too much sometimes they get aggressive, start fights and cost the paramedics a whole lot of time and money, people passing out throwing up on themselves and in a lot of cases dying...

Drunks running down the street bring rowdy and singing making lots of noise etc... well you get the idea

On the other hand you have weed which is nothing like alchol, when your stoned you easy going the last thing you would ever wanna do when your stoned is have a fight because it just chills you out and makes you calm etc i dont have to tell you what weed does but you know what i mean dont you..

a lot of crimes are done by drunken people but hardly any by people who are badly stoned lol

That's exactly how our twisted world is as we speak. I was thinking today how alcohol lowers you, puts you on a lower level, of intelligence and in general. While cannabis puts you on that higher level, above the mindset of the normal. Ganja > alchy 100%

Unless you complain to your local politico- then knowledge CAN make a difference. Politicians pay attention to VOTERS! If you remind them that 80% of the US public supports medical marijuana, if you remind them that YOU (and all your friends) want (at the minimum) legal medical marijuana, then we can make a difference! Have you written your congressperson lately??? Or are you just another apathetic stoner? Every letter is counted, by politicians, as 1,000 voters! So write a letter! Tell them what you think! There's nothing wrong with having a drink. Some days I think I like beer a bit better than weed. Not often though. The problem with both sides of the argument is some people can't be responsible no matter that they're on. Assholes will be drunk assholes when drinking and stones assholes when smoking.
I've met plenty of dickheaded stoners that love to start a random fight for no reason. Dickheads don't need drugs, they just need a reason to be a dick.
