Penicillin

I have a really big tooth infection and has resulted in my face being very swollen along with a lot of pain and headaches. Dentist said I gotta be on penicillin for 10 days so it becomes less infected. Today is the first day that I'm on it and I can already feel a little better. I am able to smoke weed on penicillin? Will it do bad? and how about alcohol? Thanks

I believe people smoke weed while on penicillin fairly routinely without problems. It might even further help the swelling and pain. Everything I've read just now on the Web leads me to believe that there's very little risk of dangerous interaction with alcohol, either. Just make sure not getting too tanked and/or dehydrated from alcohol while you're on your antibiotic. Antibiotics work better in well-hydrated bodies.

You may want to consider eating some yogurt. Antibiotics have a way of killing the beneficial bacteria in your gut as well as the nasty germs. Yogurt replaces the good bacteria that you need. -Granny :hippy:
