You need to acquire that 'fuck it' mentallity. If she turns you down, fuck it, who cares. If she says yes, fuck it. I got laid a couple times when I was 16 from this chick who was friends with my buddys sister, and after that I didn't get laid again until I was 18 and that was with some chick I met at the bar. I get laid from time to time now, especially now that a girl who's been a friend of mine forever has begun to fool around with me, but I have never had a girlfriend, I don't think I have asked a girl out since I was 17. I am short 5'6, I am pretty built physically, but not toned. I am your average short built like a rock italian goombah. But I got rejected by the first four girls I ever liked enough to ask out and that has ruined me ever since. Sure sex is nice, but it comes in spurts, no meaningful relationship behind it, no love. It makes you feel hollow when you don't have someone to connect with. What sucks even more is when everyone your best friends with has a girl and when you all go out your the loser trying to pick up chicks. That is why I acquired the 'fuck it' attitude.

You can read all the adivce you like but it wont get you any where. Get yourself in some situation where youre around girls on a daily basis, persay a job. The concept of working game is stupid, just interact with them.

Dont procrastinate on it and tell yourself it just isnt the right moment to approach a girl and find reasons to justify it. The grim truth is you aint getting any prettier and the longer you go without interacting with girls the more alien theyll seem to you. Dont wait for fate, do it

But seriously, the only thing I can think of (and thats kept me not so self conscious about myself... not that Im dirty or anything like that, I clean my teeth twice daily, wash my face twice a day, use some nice aftershaves now and then) is that a girl will always like you for their personality. If they dont like my body, then they can fuck off, cos theres gonna be a girl somewhere that will like YOU, for YOU.

Edit - use chatrooms to practice talking to girls, that way only your personality comes out and you can swap pictures after youve built a friendship up
