We don't have comcast here, instead we have charter.

At my old apartment complex, I was trying to get internet...and they send crap mail to everyone in my complex daily offering their services.

So I call them up...and they literally told me that if I wanted to get internet that I need to get everyone together in my complex and pay them 20,000$ if we want them to install internet and cable tv to us.

Mind you, my complex only had 7 units.

I couldn't believe they actually told me that.

Luckily though a local company did offer services.

So are you sure that you are getting cable from Comcast and not somewhere else???

Story: I recently moved into an apartment with my girlfriend, we hook up what I thought was the antannae for basic TV channels and lo and behold, we get free cable! Cool. SO I figure we can definitely get cable internet, and I figure if they discover the free cable and disconnect it but i get internet (much more important to me) than that will be ok. So I call them (i live in a rural area so they are the only cable provider) and the dumb bastards tell me Rating: 5
