Hello everyone, sorry for the trouble! You guys are gods, I can't help asking.

----Blablaboring Sorry----

My last grow, during vegetative, they were very healthy. I just used Dyna Gro 7-9-5 and somehow, my roots were healthy and crazy huge in 82 degree water and I just kept the ph around 5.5. I kept PPM very very low. Bubbler system.

This time (waterfarm system, 400MH), I forgot to ph the rockwool, so the water kept coming back to 7 or so. I started an experiment and kept the water around 6.7-7.1 and the seedlings seemed to be doing good. Their roots developed and green growth came.

About 8 hours ago, I changed the water (old water was around 7ph 100 PPM total) with 4.5 ph water (first nute feed 115PPM+ 215total dynagro) to counter attack (balance) whatever (rockwool, hydroton, alge haha?) was making the pH jump. The water inside is now 5.8 (fixed, but done risky >_>). I assume it will raise to maybe 6 (better than 7).

----QUESTIONS----

1) pH lock out?
Having 4.5 water touch your roots for maybe 5 hours have a great impact? It hit the hydroton (roots), then into the bucket, then back up and repeated. It was watering 15 minutes on for every 45 minutes off. (It probably rinsed through the hydroton 6 times during the night) Temps around 70F night and very low humidity.

2) nute burn?
Do you think 115PPM + from Dynagro 7-9-5 would cause burn? The plants are around 6 inches tall and there are some roots already in the bottom water container (with an airstone).

Last time I used dyna, the most PPM add I did was 300+ and they didn't show any defs. So maybe +115PPM is too strong for them?

It looks like they're just starting to nute burn or something...can't really tell. I'm just really paranoid. I made this so more could view it = maybe faster reply later? I hope this is just a little error and they recover just fine after a day or two of 5.8 water .

My friend broke my friend's camera; so nice! I promise I'll show some pics once I get a working camera X_X. Thank you all and long live Bob Marley! I'll be using Advanced Nutrients Grow, Bloom, Micro on the next water change.

Take care all :hippy:
