Consider a physical barrier around your plants, such as a cutworm collar. Google it if you don't know what it is. Very common for veggie gardens.
Diatomaceous Earth scattered around your plants will kill bugs but DO NOT INHLAE THE DUST. Other things to try are regular insecticides, and since you are SO early in your grow you have a lot more wiggle room to play with shit like rotenone that I would not THINK of putting on a plant less than 8 weeks from harvest. Bonide rotenone with pyrethrins is a bad-ass broad spectrum insecticide. ONLY USE IN VEG!!!! I cannot stress enough.
Good point, I suppose if the one plant was almost a month old than the problem may not be damping off. Pictures would help identify the problem. Got Pictures?
BobBong Reviewed by BobBong on . Bugs are raping my plants. Okay so on and off I've been planting seedlings here and there in my forest grow spot. Every single one has died, mostly because a bug chewed through the stem and the plant collapsed on itself. My biggest dank plant that was a month old just got killed today:mad: . And I'm very pissed because all I have left is a few freshly planted seedligns along with one plant that got knawed at the stem but is still alive on its side along with one that got its leaves eaten off but is still growing. I'm Rating: 5
