Got 8 new plants, great!... now what?
Hi guys, a brother needs your advice and guiding so any comment will be appreciated.
3 weeks ago we were sitting on the balcony with some friends smokin and when the weed was out we were left with 8 seeds. Not skunk or any exotic variety, just some greek ugly looking weed but still very potent.
A friend of mine then took the seeds and just poked them into the soil of a large pot that had some dying daisies in it. It didn't even cross my mind that they would grow, as the soil was 5 years and looked like crap... but to my amazement 8 small plants started appearing through the ground after 4 days.
Now the plants are 3 weeks old and growing fast every day. They are getting ALOT of sunlight as it's almost summer where i live, but that also makes me abit worried as the temperature now is 25-27C, and by the end of the month it may climb to 32-35.
This leads me to water the plants daily, fearing the sun may burn them. Is that a bad thing to do? Will cannabis as a plant withstand temperatures even up to 40C?
I was also thinking of moving the plants indoors at some point as i live in an apartment and the balcony is not a safe place, so at what stage is better to transplant the plants?
I apologize in advance if these questions have been answered before and am sure they have. But am just doing it for the fun of it and the fact that summer is coming and we'll need all the weed we can get. :hippy:
I promise to post pictures tomorrow, but don't expect anything fancy in terms of equipment - it's just a pot with some pot in it.
Gracias again and waiting for any tips or comments!Coheebuzz Reviewed by Coheebuzz on . Got 8 new plants, great!... now what? Well, up to 35 c, you should be OK unless they run out of water. Cannabis, growing outdoors, will grow as long as the soil is OK and there is enough water to keep it hydrated. You don't want to over-water, but in a hot climate, that's a lot harder to do. Tell you what, when you run into problems, get back to CC about it. In the meantime, if they look OK, just keep doing what you're doing. It is a weed after all! - Granny:hippy:

Thanks StormCrow, it seems i've been over-watering them so i'll give them a break for a couple of days. Here are some pics as i promised.
The brown stuff on the leaves is iron, i added some today to nourish the soil as its very very old, i did the right thing, right?
I also included some pics of the weed and seeds to see if anyone recognizes the strain. It looks some type of indica to me.
