I am going to be graduating High School this May and I was wondering if anyone can offer me some advice helpful to people my age. I am headed off to live in the dorms of ASU next year and luckily I got a single room WITH a bathroom including a shower. I was so excited when I found out that I got a single room because I can't imagine what I would be like after having to be around people I probably don't like that much. I have one, it is kinda like about how I live my life and it was said by George Herbert Leigh Mallory, an amazing climber who first tried to summit Everest in the 1920's. When reporters asked him why he was trying to climb Mount Everest, he replied "Because it is there." When people ask me why I do things sometimes (like grow Cannabis), I say "because it is there."

Those all struck something personal with me. I am doing a thing kinda like the bartender and cab thing. I am doing the "semester abroad" with ASU but during the summer time. Every summer I will be in a different country for 3 years because I'm not going abroad this summer or after I graduate (classic 4 year graduation).

I will probably room with a room mate and expect the worst and hope for the best, best being someone I will be friends with and learn a lot from.

I thing I will start taking more "shots" at life because I will miss 100% of the shots I never take. Change in inevitable and I can look above for help when I'm going through hell and remember to just keep on going.

I went in the army when I got out of high school, I was an airborne ranger

it changed my life, wow what a trip, hard core shit. but I think every body
should do some kind of life changing thing when they get out of high school

so I,am glad you are doing something, it will take you from a child to a man or woman, so put your head down and charge..
