My soil PH is too low, please help!!
are you useing a soil based medium or soil-less medium reason i ask i found out recently that a mix of peat moss, perlite, vermiculite is considered soil-less which made no since to me but followed there advice and switched to a lower Ph of 6.5 as i was watering with water Ph to 7.0 and since switching a few weeks ago my girls are now growing quicker and bigger faster as it could be the start of a magnesium defiance or iron defiance just depends on the type of medium you are useing
ice#1 Reviewed by ice#1 on . My soil PH is too low, please help!! Hi all, I mentioned that the PH level of my soil was 6.1 in another thread and I was told I should be between 6.5 and 7.5. Someone suggested that I add a little baking soda into my water. How much should I add? The leafs are starting to turn a little light in color, and some of the leafs have this tiger like pattern on them. I want to fix this ASAP, please advise as to how much baking soda to add per gallon and any other suggestions. THANKS!! HM Rating: 5
