any1 know easy wasy to make hash?

I've stolen this from Erowid. I've used this method before and it works the trick is to grind the pot properly;

To make a basic solvent-extracted 'hash' from dried leaves or dried buds:

Take dried marijauna and crush it up into a fine powder.

Put the powder in a jar with 100% pure Isopropyl alcohol, so the alcohol covers the powder.

Soak in a dark place for anywhere from a couple of hours to a few days.

Pour the mixture through a screen onto a glass plate. A fine kitchen strainer or gold coffee filter work well.

Evaporate the liquid carefully. This can be done either by letting it sit out in a warm place or by heating it up. If you're going to heat it, be careful: it's flammable. Do it someplace with good ventalation, preferably near a kitchen exhaust fan that blows outside. A fan blowing over the top of a pan will speed evaporation, but can increase risk of fire.

Please Note: If alcohol or any flammable solvent is used, a fire extinguisher should be on hand, there should be consistent ventilation to keep fumes from building up, and open flames should be avoided. If heat is to be used, electric burners are far preferred. In a pinch, damp towels can be used to suppress flames on a pan, a metal pan lid to fit tightly over the pan being used, or a bucket of water. Even a spark from an electric fan can cause a fire and could result in a primitive flame jet.

Scrape up the tar with a razor blade or spatula. Try to choose a pan or bowl that won't be harmed by a razor (glass?).

If it is too sticky, add a little dry powder till it attains the consistancy of silly putty. Work it over and over. This seems to make it bind together. Practice makes perfect.

I don't know what you call it but what I do is get a bud buster and wet the lid and then bust the weed u and the crystals will stick to the top of the lid some weed might still be on the lid just scrape it off with a tooth pick or something then roll it up with your fingers and keep compressing it as hard as you can get it then throw it in the freezer for about ten minutes then smoke how you will I found the best way is hot knives or in a bong in a bunch of little balls. the left over ain't that good but if you make a lot I guess u can use it to make oil or whatever if you got good weed you get get ant least a eighth of hash out of a quarter of weed

I use a keif box and a press.

It definitely is the SIMPLEST way, collect the keif from your stash, load it into the press, press it tight and leave overnight.

I want to point out that there are several types of hash.

What I described was yellow hash, the alchohol method I beleive is black hash and there's others (I love Wikipedia)

I will say this though:
If you're getting an 8th of Hash out of a Quarter of Weed, there will be some plant matter in there. Plant Matter = Lower Potency

My Method is very passive in that I'm not actively attempting to create Hash, it's more of a byproduct. With Schwag that has some crystals on it, I get about 2g per oz.

Admittedly, prior to about a year ago, I had no concept that there was even a difference between weed and hash so I am quite new to this.

But that was very helpful info.

ok. so everyone wants to make hash. but where do we find the screen? well i found one. its at michaels craft store. the store common around the united states. if your in another country, get a silkscreen.

at michaels craft store, they have a silkscreen mounted onto a board. it works perfect for making hash. look in the silkscreening section of michaels craft store.

and then the other guy talked about hash oil. i think its best to make that with everclear, aka grain alcohol, instad of another type. grain alcohol is organic and benign.

so once you have you silkscreen, you have to press your powder. this can be difficult. very difficult.

some people use pressure. some use heat. some people add vegetable oil to the powder, and then heat that up like that.

from my experiences of attempting to retain everything to do wtih weed...this is my method.....

first you need atleast an ounce of good crystaline bud.....then you take a sifter thing (basicly a box with a fine screen attatched....to it.....but the buds (slightly broken up but not into "shake") and start shaking the hell out of it over a peice of big paper....preferabely something white-ish so you can see the stuff when it falls out.....do that until you can't see anymore stuff falling.....then you "sweep it up" with a peice of card board and put it in a cellophane (plastic from a cigarette pack) and pack it in there as tight as you can (1 ounce of weed will roughly make enough hash to fill one of those listerine pocket packs...depending on the bud itself) and take a peice of newspaper and 4 inches wide and 8 inches long....placing it long ways away from you you then wrap it as tightly as possible wrapping it around and around until there is no more left to wrap....then wrap both ends over and tape it together with masking tape....put it in the oven on 375 for about 10 to 15 minutes and then cut it all open carefully and you have your finished product....now i could be wrong about all this but i do believe quite strongly i am right....this came froma video i downloaded off of winmx...feel free to correct anything or improve on idea's because when i have the weed to do it with i plan on doing it so any extra knowledge would be good!

i saw a video of this method of making hash and this video is on youtube but i dont remember the name just type "Making hash" in the search bar on youtube and you will probably find the video but and in that video this person puts the weed in a plastic container and shoves as much weed as possible in that container so its packet tight and then places it in the freezer for a while (i am not sure about the amount of time it was in the freezer) then he takes it out of the freezer and then he puts it on that sifter thing and shakes it up and the rest of the stuff he did was the same thing which you mentioned above.

I live in India and over here the farmers who sell hash have huge plantations of weed and they take a lot of weed and start rubbing them using the palm of their hands and they rub the leaves of hundreds of plants so after doing so , a lot of hash gets collected on their fingers and the palms of their hands ,then they use a thin razor sharp blade and scrape it of their hands ,so they do this the entire day and thats how they make hash . :thumbsup:
