High as hell - chest pain?

Well I quit for a little over a month, and when I could smoke again a few days ago I had an ounce of some nice haze waiting for me, and I've never smoked anything as good as this before. So when I am getting stoned off this bud I notice I can't feel anything and I have some chest pain that feels like a fast heartbeat. Anyone ever had this happen before? I almost thought I was gonna die last night and be the first person to ever die on the ganja hahaha.

ur own self consiousness is exacerbating ur senses. My chest always feels sorta constricted after smoking, but my high makes it seem much worse than it really is.

The chest pains or angina are most likely attributable to one of herb most common physical side effects. Herb will almost always induce a increase in heart rate. Especially so in those whose tolerance is minimal. This pulse rate increase is often accompanied by a rise in blood pressure. The chest pains you describe are a possible warning sign. Try smoking less but more frequently, this will build a base tolerance and ideally rid you of this reaction. If that fails, I would probably have your blood pressure checked just in case.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I used to smoke pretty good bud daily and then stopped for over a month and now smoking the same amount but great bud. I guess I'll just take it easy for a bit. :stoned:

When i smoke too much i feel some pain in the chest, but for me it seems more an irritation due the smoke, because my heart keeps beating slowly as always.
I think i feel pain in the lungs, or in the part of the trachea which meets them... its hard to explain... but in my case im sure its due the smoke, cause when i cough the pain comes and goes, together with the phlegm i feel inside the lungs.

That has happened to me a few times.. I really like how red bulls taste, especially after i've smoked, and i've noticed that occasionally gives me some chest pain, but nothing really to worry about..it goes away eventually.
