Dragons
Who knows, maybe people were afraid of the unicorn and dragon bodies (in the same sense as witches), took them out to the middle of the ocean and dumped them to keep evil goblin spirits from claiming their souls :wtf:

Personally, the whole dragon mythology is proof that human history should be taken with a grain of salt. I don't believe that there were fire-breathing monsters in ancient Europe or Asia (no proof). I do believe that it's entirely possible that there were large NON-fire-breathing monsters all over the place, and people (see: the telephone game) told stories, got scared, etc... word of mouth somehow made fantastical legends out of ordinary things. The fact that western dragons are 100% tied up in the occult of European past (wizards and witchcraft... excalibur anyone?) makes things even more story-telling and less fact-based.
I love dragon stories. I just don't think they existed here on Earth like the stories tell. Does anyone think Lord of the Rings is historically accurate?

I think dragons were actually the last few remaining dinosaurs.

Of course they existed at one point... But then, about the same time that dinosaurs were evolving into birds, most dragons started growing feathers, moved to mexico and became coatles... the favorite pet of the mayan people. And when the mayan people migrated to a higher plane of existance, they took their pets with them of course.
not exactly rocket science now is it?

i saw this thing on the discovery channel about how draogns could have existed. it explained how they flew and breathed fire and all that shit. i think the fire had something ot do with platinum deposits in the mountains.

actually, an animal that spits fire isnt far from reality. its completely possible.
and i was watching some docu's and some christians (weird, eh?) believe that 'dragons' (which is a pretty new name in historical context) were simply 'dinosaurs', and actually in China they have 'evidence' (and paintings from famous painters for that matter) of chinese emperors that had their precessions (and the carts they were carried in) 'driven' by these 'dragons'....kind of interesting actually....
i dont believe it in the normal mainstream point of view, but yes, i think its completely possible for a 'dragon' to exist.....a flying dinosaur that spits fire? whats so hard to believe about that?
weirder shit happens on a daily basis.....
props pipe dreams, i think were on the same track here....
