Getting paranoid when high

For some reason i never seem to get paranoid when im high. Im usually just like in my own little world. What is thereto get paranoid about? police or something?

i live in Leeds in England, its pretty relax, but the occasional cop does drive past. They dont really seem to care though.

It's a well known fact that paranoia is a possible side-effect of cannabis consumption.

I had a pretty bad paranoia high a few weeks ago. They're not nice.

I get paranoid now sometimes when im sober....I'll walk into my house listening to my mp3 player, and think I hear kids yelling(I live in a more mature neighbourhood...they dont like me)...I take off my mp3 player, look about...nothing, nobody there...Then I stick the music back on and I hear it again....

when i first started smoking in my room i would get like that, now i know that i wont get caught and am used to taking the necessary saftey procedures so i never get scared anymore.

I have a theory. At least it works to explain how I feel, and I've noticed this a lot.

What weed does for me (besides getting me high) is increasing the sensitivity of at least some senses. I can hear and track sounds better while high, for instance.

My theory is that this increased awareness is the cause for the paranoia when for instance I'm walking back home while high -- I can hear the wind clearly, my own steps, the water tripping on the plants etc, and maybe that's where it comes from -- you're dealing with more (and unusual) information which is not "registered" as a pattern.

Dunno if that's the kind of paranoia you're talking about, but that's how it goes for me.

The only time I get way paranoid is when i'm stealing and i'm high. Or if I see a police car.

little kids that are afraid mommy and daddy are going to catch them smoking weed/stoned. Sorry if this came across rude or something but for the most part is is kids that are posting about getting paranoid. Honestly, if you can't handle the effects from smoking or know your parents don't agree with it, wait until you're out from under them and living on your own.
