I'm not really feeling the original version, I'm glad Gary Jules made his own version because I think the music is more appropriate for the lyrics.

the Tears for Fears version is sooo good, but the way Jules' version plays at the end of Donnie Darko is such a great way to end the movie. great lyrics to go with the movie "the dreams is which i'm dying are the best i've ever had.."

that song is just as overplayed as donnie darko is overrated. it makes me think of immature high school peeps who like both of those things.

sorry, i don't mean to offend, i just have a pretty strong disliking for that movie because i find it to be trash.

and the tears for fears original version is just outright terrible. it's way too damn upbeat for the lyrics. ugh, the 80s
