Can a medical marijuana patient be evicted?
I know this may vary from state to state, but living in California I am hoping someone out there can answer this to me. I am renting the place I live, and like most rentals they have an anti-drug enforcement program. What I can't find out is if this applies to California legal medical marijuana users.
I have read the actual prop 215 law, and I can't find anything that touches on this subject so I worry I wouldn't be protected if my landlord found out I was using marijuana. I wouldn't want her or my neighbors finding out either way, but just in case she did find out I'd like to know if I would be legally protected.Nailhead Reviewed by Nailhead on . i would be concerned that even if you were protected, they could find some othereason to evict you, but actually, i don't think that you have any protection; i think they can evict you if they want; i'm not nearly positive though
