basic dwc setup: buy or build?

ok, so thinking i'd like to have a few plants in soil, and a few in dwc, just to shake it up and see how they do

what i'm wondering is if y'all would suggest i buy a ready-made setup or build one? if a ready-made setup, which would you suggest? if build, got directions?

i want something simple and effective; and i want lots and lots of bubbles, so good big airstone needed, noise is not an issue as grow will be in the garage; i'll only be flowering a few plants at a time under a 250w hps so it's a small grow

look into buying a water farm. They sell a kit with 8 sites. or just one. comes with everything nutes, hydroton...etc. goodluck.

thanks; isn't that mainly made for drip? would i modify it then? i read an article about an easy DWC diy setup and it seems easy and would be great. dwc seems like a lovely method. the one thin i'm concerned about is that the grow will be in a garage that is seperated from the main house, and there is no water in there. so i'd have to fill up a big rez. with water and bring it out, i'd also have issues with dispossing of old water regularly; a DWC system needs new water every couple weeks? i'm only growing a few plants so it wouldn't be that much to change, but still

btw: i've already bought a lot of the equip, had started a soil grow but had to tear down and will start over

    have:
    mylar
    3-part GH
    ph tester
    rooting gel
    250w hps
    cfl's and fixtures for veg

and some other junk, so am well on my way. was going to be growing in a closet, so didn't want to deal with hydro for fear of flooding, but now will be in a garage, and dwc seems awesome.......

i'm thinking the basic 5-gal black bucket method looks fantastic; i have a drill, so should be good to go.

question: where can i buy netpots, airpumps and such? home depot? walmart?

i will be medical so it will be a legal grow, but still want to keep things on the down low, you know how it is

i think i would be using about 10 buckets total; a couple mothers, and maybe 4 clones and 4 flowering, perhaps less. actually more like 3 flowering, 3 clones, 2 mothers

but regardless, it seems that i can use a dwc setup from clone to flower? that is really attractive; no transplanting, no fuss, and i really like using an individual pump for each plant so i have redundancy, one system failure doesn't kill the crop
