Hydroton Clay Rocks Question
if anything at all, it adds oxygen and moisture holding proerties to your soil. so it drains better, and reatains oxygen a little better.
Perlite is really a much better option with soil.
You could fill entire pot with hydroton, as long as you had a tray to retain overflow, making it available to plant between waterings. Using this method...you pre measure solution.
