    Volcano Users...

I've recently purchased a volcano and ive been testing to see what the best way to use cannabis is...

Ive been using a unique method and I wanted to know what you guys think. I will basically fill a large bag... attach the mouthpeice... and then put the mouthpeice up to my pHx Duo and take massive bong rips of vapor. The size of my 18.8mm stem is perfect for the diameter of the mouthpeice and basically you just 'click and inhale'...

Do you think a large enough amount of cannabinoids gets depleted when i run the vapor thru water twice? My organic chemistry tells me that since THC is fat-soluble, is shouldnt be affected by the water at all, but i've read otherwise on these forums and other places on the net.

    Whats the real answer?? :hippy:

This study (Marijuana Water Pipe and Vaporizer Study) suggests that passing vaporized marijuana smoke through water may reduce the tar/cannabinoid ratio meaning the water can remove some cannabinoids. Its seems pretty pointless to me considering the vapor shouldn't be hot like in a bong (it sure isn't in my vaporbox).

It is very interesting that you say that because reducing the tar/cannabinoid ratio means you are reducing the number of tar units per cannabinoid units. That just means you're reducing tar... which is good.

I will read your article more..

The water would cool the vapor down enough for it to condense on the inside of the bag quicker.
