    Dark Green = Healthy?

Hi Guys! I have a bit of a question for you.

A couple plants i'm growing have been getting a little darker in coloration over the past couple of days. They've just come out of the seedling stage, and their working on their third set of leaves...

They don't look unhealthy by any means... I've never seen them more hearty! However this darkening in coloration is cause for me to question.

Yes by the way, i've been using a very gentle natural fertilizer, containing zinc/potasium and what not.

Without a photo I'll take a guess....nice dark almost bluish green? Too much nitrogen. They'll start looking unhealthy soon enough if that's what it is.

that's where I get mine. hyponex. although, I have been buying miracle grow organic choice and mixing it with hyponex...for my veggies. Peace

I wouldn't generally ever recommend MG soil, as it is not mixed for POT...But; this is an organic mix...using chicken shit, and I got some sweet smelling buddage the last round before I retired. Peace

    3rd op. too much n.

bear in mind though; different strains behave differently. i had one blueberry pheno that was very very dark, with an underlying blue and purple hue. as a mom, it never got any nitrogen. in over five months.

here's a grain of salt to take that with
