i dont' know where you live.....but here at my house (constructed probably back in the 50-60's) they are all metal...here's an even better idea.....go to the plumbing section of your nearest hardware store and get a bunch of brass (kinda goldish if you don't know) screens....or stroll over to the windows and door section and see if they have brass screen on a roll for use in window screens (severlely unlikely

IF you do that make sure of two things.....first make sure that the weed is really finely ground (or the whole thing won't burn right) and make sure you leave the filter on until AFTER everything is packed in and ready to smoke....
