    Sugar/glucose coated bud

i do not condone the smoking or taking of any illegal substances whatsoever. absolutely everything i say in this post and any other post is entirely for readers interest and interest only. smoking cannabis is ilegal and you should abide by your local laws and regulations. blah...

you're all idiots, a while ago there was a large amount of sugar coated cannabis in circulation, however not all of it was sugar. to the best of my knowledge tests were conducted on a variety of these 'coated' buds. tests showed a large variety of nasty substances on the marijuhana including, sugar, glucose... get ready, aggregate (used in building to make concrete blocks), industrial sand, (a heavy man made sand used to mix cement and lime) and finaly... asbestos (a material used on roofs and garage doors, now banned in many countries including the U.K. due to it's recently discovered high toxcicity level which causes a variety of life threatening illnesses). so yes yes, don't you all feel stupid now? i guess you're asking yourself why would the distributors of this cannabis do such a thing. well i can tell you that aswell. the first substance sugar. sugar will absorb moisture from the air, forever adding more and more weight to the bud untill it reaches it's saturation point. in ratio, a gram of sugar coated bud would weigh around 0.7, around a 35% increase in weight therfore a 35% raise in profit for the seller. glucose much the same reason. next substance aggregate. aggregate is an extremely dense material and very heavy, and to the untrained eye could look very similar to the crystals you see on cannabis buds. i would hazard a guess that the weight gain would be much the same as the sugar. next substance, industrial sand. much the same reason, but industrial sand is a much darker colour so they would use it on darker coloured weed to make it less noticable than sugar or aggregate witch is almost white. next substance asbestos, these are uncomfirmed reports but from many people, asbestos is highly carcenegenic (causes cancer) amoung other illnesses, the only reason i could think for doing this would be that the sellers have no knowledge of the harm that asbestos can really do to you. it has small hairs in that again to the untrained eye could be mistaken for the little hairs often found on cannabis.

now the dangers. sugar, when sugar is burned it vapourises. it then, when restored to a lower tempreture (by this time it will be in your lungs) crystalises on to your lungs. industrial sand and aggregate, dear god, they are full of nasty chemicals, billions of them, disigned to chemicaly react with water in the process of mixing cement or concrete (watch out bong smokers). finaly aggregate, it's been banned in many, many countries due to how highly toxic it is. thousands of people have been ordered to rip their roofs and/or insulation out and replace it with non asbestos materials due to the risk of the occupants of the house contracting a potentialy life threatening desease. if it's that dangerouse to have in your home then just imagine what smoking it is doing to you.

so freinds, what do we do about this? WISE THE FUCK UP!! a simple way of telling if your buds are contaminted with sugar is to lick it. if it's sweet it's contaminated. also, i realise that there is often damp bud that's not contaminated available for purchase but let's face it, it's usaly crap. so if you never buy damp buds then you don't run the risk of smoking contaminated weed. if it's dry and crispy it's almost a sure sign it has not been tampered with. also, watch/listen to the weed when it burns and look for anything unusual, also the smell of burning contaminated weed can be a dead give away. that's all folks.

do not put your bud in water, when it's clipped from the plant and hung to dry it takes over 2 weeks... how long do you think it will take to dry after soaking it in water? also, ALL of the thc (the active chemical in cannabis that gets you high) will soak into the water. rendering the cannabis as about as usefull as an choclate firegaurd.

The burning of sugar releases a lot of CO, CO2 and other gases which take the place of the oxygen in your lungs. So, when people smoke sugar coated weed, they seems to get higher due the oxygen deprivation caused by this gases. But its only a harmful effect, and NOT a true high.

The THC is NOT soluble in water, so soaking the weed in water wont make it lose its potency.

okay, you go ahead and soak your bud in in water, see how nice it is afterwards. it will taste like crap and will not get you high. it's already been clipped from the plant therefore already started it's process of decomposition, water will speed this up, rot the bud. it will ruin it. i can assure you

We are NOT all idiots here, sublimerule, and coming on here with that aggressive stance, and bumping old posts just to insult the members, is not going to win you any friends. Furthermore, 'washing' cannabis products does not remove the THC, as those resins are not soluble in water. It may remove chlorophyll, sugars, and fertilizer salts, and sure you may be left with something flavorless, but I assure you water does not strip your bud of the resins. That's actually the way to clean cannabutter enough to cook with at temperatures high enough to scorch plant material, such as in the confectionery process.

Okay, well as i mentioned before. go soak your bud in water, smoke it, i'm sure you'll find it delightful. As for making friends, that's not what i came here to do, i started looking on the internet to try and find info on a new kind of contaminated weed i have come across. i wanted to find out if anyone had come across the same type, it wasn't sugar, aggregate, sand, fibreglass, asbestos or any of the other regulars. no i believe it to be silicone as the bud is sticky on the exterior (abnormally sticky) and all smell has been completely masked. then i stumbled upon this post. with comments like, 'i smoke sugar weed because it gets you more high'... and 'i've seen my dealer do that, he does it for fun' these are the complete retards that are entirely responsible for the continuation of the distribution of this contaminated death bud. they are so stupid they believe it will get them more high, or it's just a bit of fun, or it wont do any harm. they will influence others who know nothing about the drug into thinking it's the norm and it's okay to smoke. if people stopped buying this weed then people will stop selling it. these people need to be educated. if you know so little about these matters then you shouldn't be smoking cannabis at all. these wannabe smokers are creating a market for this crap and i'm fucking sick of it. so you can stick your non-soluble THC crap right up your completely ignorant ass, and continue leaving these uneducated idiots to smoke their poison, while i continue posting my knowledge of these matters to the people that matter such as the UKCIA who are actively trying to stop this epidemic in whatever ways they see possible. now cannabis.com can delete my account for being rude, you can have the last word (after all i'm sure that would please you). and you can all carry on as you were. happy smoking

That disclaimer at the beginning of your each post is pretty funny.

Ignorant; I think not. I am, by profession, an analytical chemist. I work with organics. I use liquid-liquid extractions to prep my samples, and remove contaminants in the aqueous phase, without seeing any drop in response of my surrogate standard which remains in the nonpolar phase. So don't call me ignorant, and don't tell me what to do. Assumptions one makes about people online turn out to be WRONG a lot of the time. There are PhDs on the board.

If you had bothered to read around here before posting/flaming, you'd have noticed that the site staff work VERY hard to educate the members on safety. Any comments you see that you consider to be giving unsafe advice need to be REPORTED; that's the little red and white triangle to the upper RH corner of each post. We do NOT allow flaming.

As for silicone (which you have only just mentioned for the first time, by the way), you'd be able to tell if you got it on your fingers and found that it left a hydrophobic residue. No dealer would be stupid enough to use it as a coating. It would not feel 'sticky' so much as 'slimy'.

You are welcome to piss off if you can't participate without attacking other members, NOOB.
