Sugar/glucose coated budHi, recently we have been getting sugar coated bud, it started off with it looking dark on the outside, then u split the bud and its light green on the inside. The recent bud has been gettin better/lighter green on the outside but still there are some signs of sugar on it. This is to make it weigh more but, how much do they gain from adding sugar, or spraying it with a sugar water solution then drying it out again? the recent henrys all look pretty decent so I am guessing the sugar only makes a difference when buying very large amounts. also it looks to me like they arent spraying all the bud now, just bits of it, again, contaminating the bud. at first i guess they got complaints as the henrys looked more like 3.1g than 3.5 and gradually they have been putting less and less on it. Does anyone know any more about this? Is it because of all the police raids and the growers want more money? slickrick Reviewed by slickrick on . Sugar/glucose coated budHave you ever thought of re-curing it with a water cure? The sugar would dissolve and you'd be left with unsugared bud (and I'd use the water to water my plants, cannabis or just plain house plants)! You wouldn't have to cure it for more than one day, rather than the 7 recommended for actual water curing.- Granny:hippy: \"If the truth won\'t do, then something is wrong!\"

Sugar/glucose coated budI remember a thread from a while ago where people said that adding sugar to weed makes the high a lot better. The dealers could be adding the sugar, not to add weight, but to make the weed seem more dank than it really is.

Sugar/glucose coated budI fail to see how sugar could make weed more potent. Are you actually SURE it's sugar?

And where abouts do you live? The main drought ended last year.

 Still though, dont smoke sugar.

Sugar/glucose coated budI've never seen that but it's kinda funny. I mean since sugar usually burns black and would be a key factor in whats wrong with the herb. . .lol, I get buds name Sugar Shack every so often, but I don't think their the same strain as that. . .
