You can also try to find the root folder and delete it.

To end the Trojan process:

Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete once.
Click Task Manager.
Click the Processes tab.
Double-click the Image Name column header to alphabetically sort the processes.
Scroll through the list and look for the process associated with the virus.
If you find the file, click it, and then click End Process.
Exit the Task Manager.
Now do a full scan

The major problem with not getting rid of trojans and viruses in normal mode is system restore. Windows backs up everything including trojans and viruses ....even when the anti-virus program deletes the file system restore has a copy. Which when the mother file is deleted the image automatically recreates itself. Thats why its best to do a full scan in safe mode, because that allows the anti-virus program to read the system restore folder, while when its in normal mode the restore folder is write-only. Thats why it misses the virus and it keeps coming back. I hope this helps you guys understand why you do certian things and how its done.
