Stinky,

The Red Sox have been laying down the freaking smack down on the Yankees. I am a very happy boy despite my problems in the garden right now. I believe they hold the much needed pieces to take the east this year barring any huge injuries to our pitching staff. Very exciting time to be a Sox fan tho! Will be in San Diego for those games, and Oakland as well.

Babies don't look all that much better, have lost 12 now... my friend is in the process of talking to the dude and figuring out what the deal is. I will be requesting the money back for at least twelve considering I paid a pretty nice premium on them. Not only that, but the ones that died lacked the needed root structure to survive in any garden, not mine specifically..so we will see what happens.

I do think most of the rest will make it though... so I guess I lost 12-14 out of 54. I was very discouraged, still am a bit... but a friend with more experience than I came over and said he thinks the rest will be just fine. No signs of much growth really, but I need to wait the ten days prior to making a judgement. Also found a bit of mildew on them, but I will be taking care of that shortly.

P.S The strain is da purps or granddaddy purps..or whatever else it's called. Not the easiest plant to clone\root in the world from what I have read. Hopefully things start looking up soon!
razzapiggy Reviewed by razzapiggy on . Typical Bounce Back Period for Clones in growing Medium? Clones aren't perking up as quickly as they have in times past... this is a different strain than usual so perhaps these are a bit slower? I am growing Da Purps... got some clones from a buddy. Some were very mature, showing plenty of true leaves, with almost too much root to be put into a 5-6 inch pot. Others had smaller roots, and less true leaves. In any case, they aren't bouncing back and standing proud nearly as quick as the ladies I got in the past. It's been about 36 hours and alot Rating: 5
