those cotyledons will wither and die on all the plants eventually, all they are used for is the initial jump-start of photosynthesis, when it starts to grow real sets of leaves (that photosynthesize better) , the cotyledons die off.

Just today i noticed that the embryoic leaves (the round ones that are the first visible leaves) on one of that plants are turning yellowish brown. I am getting ready to transplant ..that plant is a bit taller than its pot. Other plants seem to be doin fine. is this because the plant is too big for the pot? I am using normal growing soil and a weed florsesent light bulb. Any ideas on wut it could be? Rating: 5
