i haven't got a present, either birthday or christmas, on either date from my grandparents in years upon years.... the wife has never tried to wait that long (i'm a really nosey mother fucker... i even drive my grandparents crazy... which is why since about age 11, i wasn't given presents... just money to do what i wanted with... cuz they knew if they gave me 'presents' i'd drive them absolutely insane trying to figure out what it was...)
