Illinois Sen. Barack Obama said the former New York City mayor, who was in charge on Sept. 11, 2001, should not be making the terrorist threat into ''the punchline of another political attack.'' Honestly Psycho, the bottom line is that it really doesn't make a difference who is in the White House and who is in control of Congress. 9/11 would have happened if Gore had gotten the votes in 2000...um, well..you know what I mean, and it would have happened if it was a Republican president that Monica had been blowing instead of Clinton for the 8 years prior. And if you don't believe that you're a fool. Just like all the fools that re-elected Bush based on the same fear mongering back in 2004.
So, if we want another President who appeals to the idiots of America (ever notice that the areas with top universities, top research, top hi-tech, in other words, places where smart people live, are predominantly blue?) then go ahead and vote for another fear monger. You'll get what you deserve.

Say what you want Psycho, but as of last count, Dubya was responsible for the deaths of about 400 more Americans than Osama was.

We CAN'T go back into time and honestly state whether or not a republican president would have handled it better than Billy boy BUT he did sit on his ass during all those attacks.

Anyway guys the conservatives are done in 2008.Many Americans are waking up to realize what a big mistake this war has become and the will of the people are being ignored again.Any politician that wants to increase the troop levels in Iraq wont have a chance come election time. The majority of Americans want the troops home now.

Yeah can we really sit here saying that the 8 years clinton was in the house was on the offensive of terrorism. NO we cant! the entire time he was in office, though it was good for our economy, well set us up for much worse circumstances for the future as we can see.
I think democrats are a on a totally different level then republicans obviously, and i would rather have a person in office willing to adhere to the situation rather then just pull troops out of the mid east. What a bad idea. Its exactly was P4b said, it would be like us waving a white flag. I think we need to do alot more before we decided to just take troops out, the shit bush says why we keep them there right now, maybe hes a retard in his statements but its not far from the truth that pulling out right now is a bad idea.
We cant leave the countries with such bad infrastructures, that would leave them worse off then before, and us aswell.
