    Grandaddy Purps Medical Grow....

Just started my second grow, I received sixty GranDaddy Purps clones. Because I don't have any CFL's, they are under my 1000 watt lamp, with the lamp about five and a half feet above the clones (I know, a waste of energy... I need to get some CFL's, and veg em nice under there before flower) My temps are at 71.6 right now, and relative humidity is fifty three percent. I have a total of 2600 watts of equip, so I am hopeful that of the sixty or so clones, fifty stay alive and remain healthy enough to be flowered - a few of the clones look a tad immature in root structure. I also gave them B1 mixed with their first watering, so we will see what they look like in the AM. Anyone who has experience with Grandaddy Purps please chime right in. Pictures to come soon!

Last time they worked out fine with the 1000 watt vegging em... we will see this time.

Clones have been in the SunShine#4 for about twelve hours now... I did add about 10 ML of a B1 solution to the distilled water before giving them their first watering. I must say, these have not perked up the way the first run did. Last time they were standing tall and proud within three hours of being given the B1, definitely not the case this time.

They look frail and a bit weak, I am sure they are still in shock. With reguards to the B1 formula, I believe you can add it to your water solution or just mix it with some water, and dip the roots in there prior to putting them in your medium. I opted for the first option because some of the roots were already a tad tangled when I got the clones... so planting them was a little bit of a puzzle - very careful work. I figured get 'em in ASAP.

buy some 4ft floro fixtures (like a 4 bulb fixture, only like $40 with bulbs), they work great and can be hung up, then swapped out for your 1kw whenever.

Thanks for the tip 4X5... pretty good idea, would save me some cash as well! Kind of almost makes me feel like I was wasting money buying the Veg bulb to begin with if fluro fixtures are that easy to hang... oh well.

Anyhow, they are improving pretty quickly. You can see the roots took quite sometime to get situated and now the plant is ready to take off vertically. I just gave them a nice little shower with 400 PPM water, and also gave them a nice spraying of neem oil (found a few bugs on one last week, hopefully the neem works out well)

My plan is to flower in about a week to ten days. I want to top these bitches, but some of they simply aren't mature enough to do that too just yet.

Do you guys top right prior to flowering? I would imagine you want to let the plant recoup from being topped prior to forcing 12.12

    Thanks gang

Update on the clones... looking good now. On one plant I see some yellow marks on the top leaves, with what is close to a hole in the leaf. I saw a few mites not too long ago, but have been using the neem regularly. In any case, most have bounced back nicely, and appear ready to be flowered within a week or so. Pictures to come soon.

Also got some insecticide soap, do you just dip the plant (pot) into the soap and then place it back ?

Four weeks into flower now (pictures to come shortly...sorry I've been busy as hell)

Bugs are somewhat under control with the help of Pyrethrum bombs. Going to let these ladies go for about 7.5 weeks, I like the more uppity high. Some of them need to be tied up as they are falling over.

Buds definitely smaller at four weeks than my last bunch were, I do belive I received a smaller yielder this time for sure but we will have to see. Will update soon!
